I just completed my first IM at Louisville. I would recommend this race to anyone, especially this board as it is virtually impossible to draft and therefore a very fair and individual race that rewards pacing.
Some things went great (swim and bike pacing) some went terribly wrong (over hydrating leading to a dissapointing run time). The swim and bike were both my easiest of the year with very good for me results. I paced it perfectly for a great run. However I drank too much. I am actually happy b/c I didn't think I could do that. This shows me that I can eventually learn to be properly hydrated at an endurance event.
I can't stop thinking about my next race and better nutrtion execution. My only regret is that it will be another year!

Thanks to KP and this board for getting me through training and completing my first IM.
