30 runs in 30 days

I have joined some others (lead by Dr. J.) in a 30 runs in 30 days challenge. What is the purpose and what qualifies as a run?

I have just finshed up Day 4. If you have completed your race season, are looking to pick up training again post IM, or are easing your way back into training after an extended rest or injury, feel free to get on board. Read through the entire blog post of Jeff's and take special note of comments made on day 13 of his run block with some of his pals/athletes. This is not a test of human endurance. View it as a way to increase injury resistance. Our goal is to become unbreakable in a safe way. Plan to decrease emphasis in other areas of training if you are just starting back up. Prioritize. I encourage you to post your intention to join me if you feel that will act as encouragement and help hold you accountable. Likewise, you can e-mail me directly if you prefer to not to share you quest. If you follow this board, you'll know that I worked up to a 30k swim week. I have also increased bike volume to include 2x3hrs/wk for the last 3-4wks and a ride out to Dudley's (4:20) just prior to the fires. I will now look to make this challenge my priority.
