Saturday ride to Dana Point -- end of bike week

Very nice San Diego weather today: 65 to 75 degress, typical 10-15mph breeze off the ocean, acting as a headwind going up coast and tail wind coming back down. I rode solo as an out and back to Dana Point. The harbor and Doheny State Beach is 25min further up coast than my ride on Sunday but the weather was perfect this time around, making this trip about 40min faster over the same roads. It is 50 miles or 80k to the snack shack at the State beach from Torrey Pines. Ride time to the turn around was 2:50. Ride time back was a steady 2:30. Once back to my truck I added 10min into Sorrento Valley to make it an even 5:30 ride. I'll take some dedicated time to assimilate the cycling over the last seven days. It's been a great week. One I couldn't and wouldn't have accomplished without the support from Christine and Britni. Big thanks to you two for pushing me. Anybody who can spend as many hours with me on a bike as you gals did owns heeps of patience!
