Thursday at Tucson camp

It was another near perfect day in Tucson. We were up early and driving to a spectacular trail run before the sun came up. Out Broadway and across town is a trailhead that starts up against the foothills. This trail is gorgeuous, endless single track with huge catus lining the edges. There are so many off shoots that I had to stop and note my location to make sure I didn't have a Deep Survival story. I looged a 1:20 run and others (Gordo, Jonas, Nick) were over 2hrs.
Post run, we took on some CHOs and a bit pf protein before a casual swim near 11:00am. Then lunch. At 2:00pm it was time to punch the clock and some of us rode over Gates Pass (less difficult direction) to round out a day that was about 3:45 of training.
It's been great to date!
