So, folks, I think this is my first post on ANY forum. Or maybe not. No idea. Anyway, I am hoping to catch ALL sorts of atten-mention with my posts, thoughts and daytime dramas. This sport is about grabbing attention anyway you look at it. There is this loop that I run, when in New Zealand. Its mostly on the road and about 25% maybe on tracks. The track itself is white, like moonstone. It makes me both sad and happy all at once, very confusing really. Anyway, back in 2006, when I was much chubbier than I am now, and the very first time, it took about 2:23. I dont think this is more than 10 miles or so, total.
One year later, it took 2:00:30... still quite a "gaspacious" effort. I remember that I couldnt WAIT to try that loop and had to get there the second I came back. Thats all I could think about the whole flight anyway.
One more year later (yeah, April is the time of foolery and sabbaticals), today, I ran it in 1:45. WHAT????????????????????????????
My weight is about the same as last year, I am SURE. I must have gotten much better looking as even the sheep did not run away terrified today. I looked like I was going to have a heart-attack and mightve scared a few children, but, who cares.
Watch for the report card in 12 months.
HAD TO SHOW OFF.......... Specially in places where they have banned one-way PA systems.
