Yesterday was a pretty 'mellow' day. Started out with a technique swim with AC as the moderator. Not sure on the yardage but it was hugely benificial. I was definetly swimming better at the end. I hope to use the drills that Alan has us do in my future sessions. The day ended with a 40 mile ride with a little 'Gordo Fun' thrown in. Climb up Gates pass big ring only then we split the ride into two groups and Gordo. The groups were broken up based on ability. The slower riders (my group) went off first, then a time delay (decided by G) for the faster riders, and then Gordo. This happened over two ten mile stretches. The good news was we were never caught, the bad news was it wasn't much of a recovery ride but it was fun and with Gordo leading the ride I was under no illusion that there would be any civility. After that we relaxed at EC HQ and chilled. It was a good day.
