I did my push ups test today. First, I got in my 4k swim and some breakfast. Then headed over to the gym for my chest, shoulders, triceps session.
Wasn't feeling all that chipper through the upper body so I chose to do the push ups before weights.
5x20 reps on 1min as 5 slow, 10 fast, 5 slow. That works out to about 40sec rest between sets.
Doesn't sound all that bad but it was and certainly affected the rest of the upper body session!
The test was over in 4.5 minutes but seemed much longer. No heavy benching after that one.
